Ohio Tobacco Quit Line Follow-Up Survey
Since 2017, Strategic Research Group (SRG) has partnered with the Ohio Tobacco Quit Line (OTQL) and the Ohio Department of Health Tobacco Use Prevention and Cessation Program (TUPCP) to conduct the OTQL Follow-Up Survey. This survey is an essential component of understanding how well Quit Line services are supporting Ohioans on their quit journey.
Through this ongoing effort, SRG helps TUPCP track quit outcomes, understand client experiences, and monitor trends in tobacco and e-cigarette use among OTQL participants. By regularly collecting follow-up data from clients approximately six months after enrollment, SRG provides reliable, actionable insights into quit rates, service satisfaction, and emerging needs among diverse populations.
Beyond measuring outcomes, this work plays a critical role in identifying opportunities to strengthen client support and improve service delivery. The follow-up survey allows OTQL clients to have their voices heard and ensure their experiences, challenges, and successes inform program decisions.
